Gov’t leaders welcome Chairman of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region
VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed Chinese Guangxi province’s effective cooperation with Vietnamese localities in such areas of economics, trade, culture and people-to-people exchanges, which has contributed to promoting Viet Nam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

PM Phuc urged the two sides develop the current mechanisms and create most favorable conditions for customs clearance at joint border gates.
He welcomed Guangxi investors to Viet Nam while calling for stronger cooperatin in such fields like culre, heathcare, education, manpower, people-to-people exchanges, and combatting crimes.
On behalf of Guangxi Province’s authority and 56 million people, Mr. Chen Wu expressed thanks to the Vietnamese PM, Party and State leaders for supporting and facilitating the two nations’ relations in general and between Guangxi and Vietnamese localities in particular.
Chen said his ongoing visit to Viet Nam aimed to realize the agreements and perceptions reached by the two nations’ high-ranking leaders, pledging to do his utmost to boost trade trade exchanges with Viet Nam.
As trade between Viet Nam and Guangxi accounts for one-third of the total trade volume between Guangxi and other countries in the world, Chen expected to soon pilot the “Two Countries, One Destination” mechanism to facilitate customs clearance at border gates.
Guangxi also expects to strengthen road and railway transport connectivity with Vietnamese border provinces said Chen.
Chen pledged to continue efforts to build a borderline of peace and friendship with Viet Nam, fight cross-border smuggling and crimes and prepare for the upcoming China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) in which Viet Nam is expected to participate.

At the reception, the Deputy PM asked Guangxi to continue faciltiaitng Vietnamese goods such as farm produce to enter the Chinese market as well as the transport of Vietnamese products by railway through Guangxi and other Chinese localities to penetrate Asian and European markets.
Deputy PM Minh asked the two sides to enhance border management, implement three documents on Viet Nam-China border management, and effectively implement signed agreements, including the agreement on protection and exploitation of tourism resources in Ban Gioc waterfall, thus helping to build the borderline of peace, stability, friendship, cooperation and development./.
