Gov’t discusses drafting, submitting laws

VGP – The Government's regular meeting on December 30 focused on discussing the drafting and submission of laws and ordinances and the issuance of guiding documents on the implementation of laws and ordinances in 2014 and proposed tasks for 2015.

Ministries and ministerial-level agencies submitted 31 laws, resolutions and ordinances to the Government. Of which, the Government approved 26 ones, gave comments on three, and provided orientations for two.

The ministries adjusted and submitted 38 laws and ordinances to the National Assembly (NA) and the NA Standing Committee, ratified 26 and gave comments on nine.

Speaking at the meeting, PM Dung stressed on the efforts and progress made in implementing the law and ordinance establishment program in 2014.

The PM asked for assessing the necessity and the feasibility in amending the laws as well as evaluating the effects of the laws in reality to guarantee their high-quality before submitting to the NA for approval.

PM Dung also referred to the acceleration of reforming administrative procedures to implement effectively three strategic breakthroughs in accordance with economic restructuring and growth model transformation.
