At the reception, PM Phuc hailed Mr. Choi Young Joo and the Panko Group for launching business and investment projects in Viet Nam, adding that Viet Nam will create favorable conditions  for foreign investors to do business in Viet Nam including Korean enterprises.

He asked the guest to continue supporting and promoting cooperation between RoK and Vietnamese businesses.

Several direct air routes connecting the two countries’ localities to be opened in the time ahead will facilitate collaboration between businesses, thus contributing to boosting bilateral trade and people-to-people exchanges, he added.

The Vietnamese Government leader expressed his hope that the Panko Corporation will expand its operations in Viet Nam.

As Viet Nam is seeing a trade deficit with the RoK, business and production activities of RoK enterprises in Viet Nam such as Panko will help balance bilateral trade, he stressed.

Mr. Choi said that his corporation plans to expand investment in hi-tech agriculture in mountainous areas in Viet Nam’s central region.

Panko will use advanced technologies in projects in Viet Nam, and continue calling on other businesses to pour capital into the country, he affirmed./.
