Gov’t chief receives Doosan Vina General Director

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hosted a reception for Mr. Park Hoong Ook, General Director Doosan Heavy Industries Viet Nam Co., Ltd (Doosan Vina) on January 17 in Ha Noi.

PM Phuc congratulated Mr. Park Hoong Ook on his new post in Viet Nam and hoped that Doosan Vina would attain more success in Viet Nam and ship more heavy industrial products. 

Mr. Phuc hailed Doosan Vina for its positive production and manufacture of modern and environmentally friendly equipment and its engagement in social welfare work and training of Vietnamese laborers. 

The host leader took the occasion to call on Doosan Vina to expand production and provide important equipment for large-scale projects in Viet Nam and contribute to socio-economic development in Viet Nam, thus contributing to cementing and deepening the multifaceted ties between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea. 

Mr. Park Hoong Ook hailed the Vietnamese Government’s efforts in solving difficulties facing enterprises, including Doosan Vina since its first investment in Viet Nam in 2006. So far, Doosan Vina had 2,000 laborers. 

The firm has been active in social activities in the country, he noted, adding that it also pays attention to training human resources for Viet Nam and improving the working environment for employees./.
