Gov't chief meets with leaders of Moldova, Haiti
VGP - PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday exchanged measures to boost cooperation between Viet Nam and Haiti during his meeting with Haitian counterpart Laurent Salvador Lamothe on the sidelines of the General Debate of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Vietnamese leader thanked Haitian Government's support for a joint venture between Viet Nam's Viettel and Haitian partner and asked the Haitian side to further create favorable conditions for Vietnamese investors there.
The two PMs agreed to accelerate cooperation in rice cultivation, post-crop preservation, aquaculture through the exchanges of experts, technology transfer, provision of machines, and joint cooperative program. PM Dung said Viet Nam is ready to share experience in poverty reduction, educational development, and healthcare.

Both sides noted that the bilateral relations between Viet Nam and Moldova are still limited with the two-way trade value standing at US$3.5 million last year.
PM Dung expressed his hope to beef up exchange of delegations at all levels in order to enhance the bilateral ties.
The two leaders agreed to restart and improve the efficiency of the inter-governmental committee on economic-trade-scientific-technological cooperation in the time ahead and launch negotiations agreements double tax avoidance and investment protection./.
