Gov't asks for improving quality of int'l economic integration
VGP – Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue, head of the Intersectoral Steering Committee for International Economic Integration has required relevant ministries and agencies to realize key tasks to enhance the nation’s international economic integration in 2019 in the spirit of improving the quality of integration quality and status more comprehensively, intensively and effectively.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is tasked for early completing the plan on orientations for upgrading institutions and policies and improving quality and effectiveness of attracting and using foreign loans till 2030.
The State Bank of Viet Nam hosts and coordinates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other related ministries and agencies to evaluate the investment activities of foreign investors at the financial market.
The Ministry of Finance and the State Securities Commission is assigned to collect and report the status of foreign investment in the stock market.
The Deputy PM has asked for well-prepared coordination for the nation to assume the Chair of ASEAN by 2020 with prioritized topics and initiatives approved by the PM such as national single window, ASEAN single window mechanism and trade facilitation and logistics to uphold the leading role of the country.
The ministries, agencies and localities are urged to launch the Government’s resolutions and action plans on international economic integration, review and assess international economic integration commitments as well as enhance completion and effectiveness of law enforcement, international economic integration policy and commitments.
