VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), on January 22, the PM agreed to the draft Memorandum of Understanding under which the UK Government will provide a nonrefundable aid worth of £16 million to Program 135, stage 2.

VNGOVNet – The PM agreed on January 22 to the basic contents of the investment project on the construction of the passages for high-tonnage ships in the Hậu River submitted by the Ministry of Transport (MT) in Document 8236/BGTVT-KHĐT dated December 29, 2006. The MT was assigned to decide investment for the Project in line with the current stipulations.

VNGOVNet – On the Prime Minister's behalf, Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng on January 22 signed Decision 99/QĐ-TTg allowing the Dung Quất Oil Refinery project to approach a loan of US$ 300 million with a term of 13 years, including 3 years of grace, and an interest rate of 6.78139% per year. The Deputy PM entrusted the Ministry of Finance to represent the Government and sign a loan agreement with the BNP Paribas Bank. The Ministry of Justice is called in for legal advice on the agreement for the Borrower.

VNGOVNet – On behalf of the PM, Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng on January 18 approved the Project "Equipping the digital television center, broadening broadcasting coverage and building capacity for staff of the Lào Cai Radio and Television Station". The project enjoys an ODA loan of €5.02 million from the Danish Government. The Project’s corresponding capital comes from Lào Cai Province’s annual budget in line with the Law on State Budget.
