VNGOVNet – On behalf of the PM, Standing Deputy PM Nguyễn Sinh Hùng on January 18 approved the Project "Equipping the digital television center, broadening broadcasting coverage and building capacity for staff of the Lào Cai Radio and Television Station". The project enjoys an ODA loan of €5.02 million from the Danish Government. The Project’s corresponding capital comes from Lào Cai Province’s annual budget in line with the Law on State Budget.

VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Transport (MT) and recommendations from the ministries of Planning and Investment, Finance, and the State Bank of Vietnam, the PM gave his opinions on January 18 on adding loan and increasing the value of contracts put to tender for domestic contractors involved in the Project to Upgrade National Highway 1 – Stage 3 (Project WB3) that is funded by the World Bank.

UNICEF-funded project addition approved 07:55 | 19/01/2007
VNGOVNet – On behalf of the PM, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm agreed on January 17 to add the Project to Increase Monitor and Evaluation Capacity to the list of projects jointly carried out by Vietnam and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the period of 2006-2010. The project costs US$ 2,259,000 (including US$ 509,000 from State budget and US$ 1,750,000 from UNICEF).
Japanese loan extended for Ô Môn Thermoelectricity Plant 11:05 | 18/01/2007
VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM agreed on January 17 to extend the Japanese Government preferential loan (coded VNVIII-2) for the Ô Môn Thermoelectricity Plant and a transmission line to February 28, 2011.

VNGOVNet – On behalf of the PM, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm agreed in principle on January 17 with the Project "Developing monitor and evaluation indicators for the National HIV/AIDS Program" which has the cost of US$ 4,000 funded by the United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS).
