Today, the Government Office will launch some modules of the Government Report Platform. Ngo Hai Phan, Director of the Government’s Office Administrative Procedure Control Agency (APCA), said that the Government Office has collaborated with ministries, agencies, the Viet Nam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and Viettel to develop and standardize the overall processes of the platform, the process of interconnecting reporting modes, and the process of sharing report data.

As calculated by the APCA, if all the reports from communes, districts, provinces, ministries and sectors to the Government are electronized and connected to the Government Report Platform, it will help to save an estimated VND460 billion (US$19.77 million) for the State budget a year.

The Government Report Platform is a system that collects and integrates report data of state administrative agencies for summary and analysis in service of the direction and administration work of the Government and the PM.

The platform works to ensure close cohesion between the reform of working methods and the application of information technology (IT) in serving the direction and management work of the Government and the PM.

In addition, the platform helps to improve the general advisory capabilities of the Government Office in the work of serving the direction and administration of the Government and the PM.

The purpose of the Government Report Platform are to renovate and improve the efficiency of IT application in the advisory and reporting work, and to contribute to transforming the direction and administration methods based on the digital data which is summarized and analyzed in real time and visually displayed through information systems and display boards.
