Golden Tourism Month launched in Hue

VGP - The central province of Thua Thien-Hue has launched a special tourism promotion program "Gold Tourism Month" from April 22-28.

The event aims to mark the 40th anniversary of National Reunification (April 30) and Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2015.
 
Visitors have a chance to enjoy guidedtours free-of-charge. Discounts of 10-30% on sales at ceremonial music performances, photos and electric car services, and other services.
 
In addition, the 2015 Hue Traditional Craft Festival, aiming to develop craft villages and expand tourism sector is set to open from April 29-May 3.
 
The event is expected to attract 40 well-known craft villages across the country.
 
Artisans will display their wares, ceramics, brocades, silk, terracotta, paper flowers, lanterns, silver and gold jewelry.
Currently, tourist numbers to Hue are rising because it is the peak summer season.

The tourism sector has improved service quality, tourism environment while implementing promotion packages and launching new tourism products.
 
The Hue Relic Site was recognised by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage in 1993, and the Hue Royal Court Music was recognised as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2003.
