General Giap’s funeral service lasts till Oct. 13 morning
VGP - The organizing board of General Vo Nguyen Giap’s funeral has decided to extend the funeral service till 06.00am on October 13 instead of 21.00pm on October 12 as planned, the Voice of Viet Nam reported Saturday.

The announcement came after tens of thousands of mourners have been converging on the national funeral house in Ha Noi to pay their final respects to General Giap.
Many mourners, who come from across the country, including elderly people, were present at the national funeral house as early as at 04-05.am on October 12.
At 15.00pm, such streets leading to the funeral house as Hang Chuoi, Yersin, Lo Duc, Han Thuyen and Pham Dinh Ho were crowded with mourners.
The memorial service is scheduled to take place at 07.00am on October 13./.
