Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung (R) receives the leader of the Air Liquide Executive Committee

The deputy PM made the remark at a reception for a delegation of the Executive Committee of France’s Air Liquide Group in Ha Noi on March 5.

For his part, the leader of the Air Liquide Executive Committee stated that Viet Nam currently has a favorable business environment that attracts international investors.

Air Liquide has been present in the Vietnamese market since 1996, and is now a major industrial gas supplier with ten production units across the country, providing auxiliary gas for the automotive, metallurgical, electronics, food, petrochemical, and health care industries.

In the near future, Air Liquide plans to double its total investment in Viet Nam to improve its industrial gas supply capacity, aiming to serve Viet Nam’s demands for industrialization, modernization and clean energy development, while meeting the country’s environmental protection requirements.

Deputy PM Dung applauded the business production efficiency of Air Liquide in Viet Nam, stating that Viet Nam-France strategic partnership is growing positively and smoothly, especially in the field of economy-trade-investment. Many French businesses have been investing effectively, contributing positively to the overall development of Viet Nam.

In the time ahead, Viet Nam continues to prioritize the development of the energy sector, especially renewable energy; the manufacturing and processing industry; supporting industries in the fields of computer manufacturing, phones, automobiles, and petrochemicals, the deputy PM said. He noted that these are all the sectors and fields of Air Liquide’s potential and advantages.

The host expressed his belief that Air Liquide will continue to work closely with Vietnamese ministries, sectors and businesses to accelerate the preparations of investment projects as well as the expansion of business operations in Viet Nam.
