France’s national day marked in HCM City

VGP -The Viet Nam-France Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City on July 14 held a ceremony to mark the 225th National Day of France.

Speaking at the event, the Association’s Chairman Le Quoc Hung highlighted the growing friendship and multi-faceted cooperation between the two sides.

He spoke highly of the decision by the governments to elevate their relationship to a strategic partnership level, noting in particular how the decision has benefited Ho Chi Minh City and the French Rhones- Alpes Region.

The Association has served as an important bridge to help effectively implement community development projects in Ho Chi Minh City with the funding totaling VND4 billion each year, Hung added.

According to Fabrice Mauries, French Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, both nations boast huge potential for developing multi-faceted cooperation.
