USAID Viet Nam Mission Director Joakim Parker said enterprises led by women have made crucial contributions to the nation’s socio-economic development, noting that the Viet Nam Women Entrepreneurs Council will enhance the participation of women in business.

Among the top 50 Forbes Asia Power Businesswomen list released in early 2014, three Vietnamese women were honored, confirmed President of VCCI Vu Tien Loc.

Around 21% of 7,821 businesses in Viet Nam are being managed by Vietnamese women.
