Former PVN Chairman Dinh La Thang to stand trial on January 8
VGP - The Ha Noi People’s Court will open proceedings in the trial of Dinh La Thang and his accomplices accused of wrongdoings at Petro Viet Nam (PVN) on January 8, 2018.

According to an announcement issued by the court on December 27, a five-member bench will judge the case.
Twelve out of 22 defendants in the case have been charged with “deliberately violating State regulations on economic management, causing severe consequences” in line with clause 3 of article 165 of the 1999 Penal Code.
The Investigation Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security on December 8 issued a decision to arrest and start legal proceedings against Dinh La Thang, former Chairman of the Member Council of PVN./VNA./.
