Foreign arrivals up nearly 8%
VGP – The number of foreign arrivals to Viet Nam in July was estimated at 1.3 million ones, up 11% against the previous month, raising the total number of foreigners to the country in seven months to 9.8 million ones, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%, according to the General Statistics Office.

The number of foreign visitors to Viet Nam by air and by road witnesses respective increases of 4.7% and 25.2% compared to the same period last year while the number of foreigners to Viet Nam by sea decreases 11.3%. |

The number of visitors from Asia still takes the lead with 7.6 million ones, making up 77.6% and a year-on-year increase of 8.8%. |
