Foreign aid for health care

VNGOP – The PM agreed on March 26 to permit the Ministry of Health and the People’s Committee of central Đà Nẵng City to accept foreign aid.

Accordingly, the Đà Nẵng People’s Committee will receive US $490,000 from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to build a rehabilitation department and provide medical equipment to the Bình Dân Polyclinic.

The Ministry of Health will take over the Project "Second injection for inoculation against measles, period 2008-2009" funded by the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) with US $2,144,500.

The PM entrusted the Đà Nẵng People’s Committee and the Ministry of Health to sign the project documents with the donors and work with relevant agencies in putting the projects into reality.
