For VN-Cambodia Treaty on Extradition
VGP – The Government has proposed the State President approve the Treaty on Extradition between Viet Nam and Cambodia.

Earlier on December 26, 2013, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang and Cambodian Minister of Justice Ang Vong Vathana signed the Treaty during the official visit of the Cambodian PM in Viet Nam.
The treaty, a legal tool for the two nations’ cooperation in crime prevention and control, has shown the two sides’ determination in punishing criminals.
The signing of the treaty also creates favorable conditions to accelerate the negotiation and signing of treaties on extradition with other countries in ASEAN as well as affirms Viet Nam’s policy of enhancing international cooperation in all fields and increasing the country's prestige in ASEAN and the world at large.
