The ever biggest gong festival, lasting from November 12 to 15, featured many unique and attractive gong performances of different ethnic minorities across the country and the region.

During the event, local residents and visitors had numerous chances to witness typical festivals in the Central Highlands, participate in exhibitions and workshops on how to preserve and develop gong cultural space in both Việt Nam and other regional countries.

The space of gong in the Central Highlands is an invaluable asset of not only the local people as well as the Vietnamese nation, but also citizens in Southeast Asia and humankind.

The Festival created a playing ground for cultural exchanges, solidarity and mutual understanding among gong-possessing nationalities in Việt Nam and the region.

The event is one of cultural activities in response to the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long– Hà Nội.
