First Singapore-invested animal feed plant in Hai Duong

VGP - An animal feed plant was inaugurated in Dai An Industrial Zone in northern Hai Duong Province on January 18 by HAID Hai Duong and HAID Feed Co. Ltd.

The first US$15 million plant invested by Singapore HAID Group in northern Viet Nam spanning on an area of 3.5 ha, specializes in the production and trading of animal feed and is equipped with world leading technological lines and started operations at the end of 2017.

It has an output of 500,000 tons every year.

In his remarks at the inauguration ceremony, Chairman of the Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Duong Thai described the one-year finalization of the plant construction as a successful contribution to attracting more Singaporean investors to the locality

Haid Group specialises in research and supply of agricultural products such as fish feed, animal feed and animal protection products. So far, the total feed production of the group has been nine million tons a year.

Haid Group has more than 200 companies worldwide, and its six plants in  Viet Nam, including Dong Nai, Nha Trang, Long An, Binh Duong and Hai Duong involved in animal feed production, fish and shrimp raising and livestock and poultry trade.
