Fees for licenses for establishment of foreign trade representative offices proposed

Accordingly, foreign trade promotion organizations and other foreign organizations and foreign traders have to pay license-granting fees when they establish representative offices in Viet Nam as regulated.

The regulation is not applied to representative offices of non-Governmental organizations, cooperative and research organizations, educational and cultural organizations and other foreign organizations.

The ministry proposed a sum of VND 3 million to be paid for issuance of a new license for the establishment of a representative office of foreign trade promotion companies in Viet Nam, and VND 1.5 million for a license to be renewed, reissued, adjusted, or supplemented.
