Fees for barcode granting stipulated
VGP – The collection, collection mechanism and payment for management and use of fees for the granting of barcodes stipulated on Circular No. 232/2016/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance will take effect since January 1, 2017.
The Circular defines the fees for licensing and using barcodes, the fee for maintaining the use of barcodes for businesses, the Global Location Number (GLN) and Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) or the EAN-8 barcode and registration fee for foreign barcodes.
Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals operating in Viet Nam registering for barcodes to be licensed have to pay fees as regulated in the Circular.
