FDI in Dong Nai exceeds plan

VGP – The Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) poured into the southern province of Dong Nai exceeded US$1.14 billion, surpassing the year’s set plan (US$1 billion) by 14 %.

As many as 73 new FDI projects were licensed in 2018 with the total registered capital of US$551.8 million. A total number of 311 projects increased their capital by US$595 million.

These FDI projects concentrate on auxiliary and clean industries with huge investment capital.

This year, the province has licensed eight projects invested by domestic investors, worth VND1,135 billion and one project increased its capital by VND266 billion.

The achievements are thanks to the province’s efforts to improve administrative procedures, create a more transparent environment, and upgrade transport infrastructure.
