Exhibition on agriculture, farmers, and rural development opens in Ha Noi

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc cut the ribbon to launch a national exhibition introducing the achievements Vietnam has attained in the development of agriculture and rural areas in Ha Noi on November 27.

The event features more than 100 pavilions from ministries, sectors, localities, institutes, outstanding businesses on agriculture, credit institutions, and technology firms supporting the development of agriculture and rural areas.

New-style rural area building has become a widespread movement, receiving enthusiastic response. Nearly 3,070 communes nationwide have been recognised as new-style rural communes.

The application of science and technology in agricultural production has been accelerated, with 7.2 million rural workers receiving vocational training.
