Exhibition features sea and island sovereignty

It showcases more than 150 photos, documentaries and artifacts which provide valuable insight into Viet Nam’s efforts to defend its territorial waters and develop the sea-borne economy.

The exhibition introduces photos on late President Ho Chi Minh’s fact-finding visit to a coastal area, as well as Party State leaders and fishermen, and workers at offshore oil drilling platforms. All the photos show determination of the Party, State and people in protecting the nation’s sovereignty over seas and islands.

It aims to honour outstanding individuals, organisations and naval soldiers who guard sea borders to defend national sovereignty.

The event runs until December 20.
