Draft agreement approved for supporting VN sectoral program on water supply and hygiene
VNGOVNet – Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng basically agreed on December 12 to the Draft Agreement between the MPI and the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), the Danish Foreign Ministry and the Dutch Ministry of Development Cooperation on the Project "Supporting the Sectoral Program on Water Supply and Hygiene in Vietnam".

The PM entrusted the MPI to be responsible for the Agreement’s contents and signing the Agreement with the sponsors before December 15, 2006.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) was assigned to collaborate with the relevant agencies to complete the Terms of Reference (TOR) made by the Steering Board for the National Goal Program on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene in Rural Areas – Period 2006 – 2010 and submit it to the PM for approval within December 2006 to supplement the Agreement’s Appendix 4. The MARD shall also cooperate with the Ministry of Finance to design and sign the agreements with nine provinces as stipulated in Appendix 7.
