According to General Inspector Trần Văn Truyền, the dialogue aimed to inform the current anti-corruption in Việt Nam as well as collect opinions and recommendations from donors.

The two-session dialogue focused on the topics "Progress and Challenges in Anti-corruption in 2007" and "Involvement of the Society in Anti-corruption".
The Danish research group asserted that the coming into force of the Law on Anti-corruption in Việt Nam since 2006 has brought about positive changes.

Concluding the dialogue, General Inspector Truyền reconfirmed Việt Nam’s commitments to promote anti-corruption and build up anti-corruption regimes in order to create a transparent investment environment in Việt Nam for international investors.
