The Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee has recently released a list of 12 projects seeking investments with a total value of US$ 1.2 billion.

Domestic and foreign investors were invited to join six transport infrastructure development projects worth US$ 410 million and six others on water system and sewage treatment valuing over US$ 806 million.

The first six transport infrastructure projects included a 24-km road in Cam My district (about US$ 26 million of investment); a 50-km inter-district road connecting Trang Bom and Xuan Loc districts (about US$ 50 million); a 15-km inter-port road (about US$ 235 million), a 6-km port road connecting Phuc An and Nhon Trach (US$ 43 million); another bridge road (about US$ 45 million); and a 2.4-km road connecting Buu Hoa bridge and National Road 1K (US$ 11 million).

The southern province also invited investors to engage in two infrastructure construction projects on sewage treatment worth over US$ 357 million and four sewage treatment projects at Nhon Trach district, Long An commune.

The People’s Committee was convinced that these projects would help spur socio-economic development and protect the environment in the province./.
