Direct Đà Nẵng-Osaka flights to make debut soon
VGP – There will be direct flights between Đà Nẵng City and Osaka, the second largest market holding 32 % of passengers from Japan to Việt Nam, only after Tokyo.

Charter flights will start in December and the official direct flights will be launched in August 2010.
According to a survey carried out by Việt Nam Airlines, the national flag carrier, Japanese tourists to Đà Nẵng reaches around 15,000 per year. From 2004 to 2008, Việt Nam’s aviation sector’s passengers from Japan increased by 10% annually.
Đà Nẵng is considered one of three biggest terminal of Việt Nam. The Đà Nẵng international airport is being upgraded to receive 4 million passengers by 2012.
Mr. Fuji Hideo, Japan Association of Travel Agent’s (JATA) vice chairman, stated that it is necessary to enhance tourist exchange between the two countries, especially advertising Central Việt Nam’s tourism, with Đà Nẵng as the center.
