Diplomatic ties established between VN and Monaco

Addressing the ceremony, the Monacan Ambassador highly praised the achievements gained by Việt Nam in the period of renovation. He showed his confidence that Việt Nam, as an official member of WTO and a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, will play a greater role on international arena.

Monaco agreed that the two countries should speed up the signing of some documents to lay the legal foundation for bilateral cooperation in various fields, such as environment and biodiversity, cultural exchange, and tourism.
