Deputy PM welcomes foreign Ambassadors

VGP – Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue hosted separate receptions for Belgian Ambassador to Viet Nam Jehanne Roccas, Solvakian Ambassador to Viet Nam Igor Pacolak and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Viet Nam Bruno Angelet.

Deputy PM Hue praised the contributions of the Belgian Embassy and Ambassador Jehanne Roccas to the multifaceted ties between Viet Nam and Belgium over the past years.

The host leader expressed the aspiration to boost trade balance and exports with Belgium in the coming time.

Ambassador Jehanne Roccas said that the economic and diplomatic ties between the two countries progressed positively. So far, Belgium investors poured € 500 million to Viet Nam. In addition, as a developed country in high tech, Belgium stands ready to shake hands with Vietnamese partners on this field.

The same day, during a reception for the Slovakian Ambassador, Deputy PM Hue and Mr. Igor Pacolak held that the diplomatic and economic ties made progresses over the recent years.

Slovakian Ambassador Igor Pacolak expected that Deputy PM Hue would visit Slovakia in the coming time to open up new business opportunities between the two countries, consolidate and develop the bilateral ties.

Deputy PM Hue stressed that the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam extremely respect for the valuable support of the EU for Viet Nam in perfecting the market mechanisms while receiving Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Viet Nam Bruno Angelet.

Ambassador Bruno Angelet affirmed that the EU attaches importance to the diplomatic and investment ties with Viet Nam. He also made recommendations on exports and imports to the EU./.
