Addressing the working meeting with executives of the Hwanghae FEZ, Deputy PM Binh assessed that the bilateral trade relations have flourished especially after the two countries signed the Viet Nam-Republic of Korean Free Trade Agreement in 2014.

The Vietnamese leader said he admired the robust developments of the RoK, one of new Asian dragons, especially following the building of FEZ to attract foreign investment.

Mr. Binh revealed that Viet Nam has piloted administrative zones – FEZ. The model of Hwanghae FEZ would help Viet Nam have new experience.

Since November, 2014, the RoK surpassed Japan to become the largest FDI provider in Viet Nam. So far, the RoK has poured US$ 55.8 billion of register FDI for Viet Nam with 6,324 projects.

The RoK ran the largest trade deficit with Viet Nam and was the largest trade partner of Viet Nam. Viet Nam was the fourth largest trade partner of the RoK./.
