Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải receives Singaporean guest

VGP – Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải on May 13 in Hà Nội warmly welcomed Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Deputy PM-Minister for Defense of the Republic of Singapore who is present in Việt Nam for the 4th ASEAN Defense Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM).

Welcoming the Singaporean guest, Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải expressed his pleasure that Singapore has got out of the economic slum and come back on track.

The friendly and cooperative ties between the two Southeast Asian countries have progressed comprehensively, as shown in of the effective performance of the Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Parks (VSIP) in Việt Nam, said Mr. Hải.

The Vietnamese Deputy PM took this occasion to call on and encourage Singaporean enterprises to invest in Việt Nam. He also expected to see more favorable conditions for Vietnamese students and pupils to study in Singapore.

Singapore’s Deputy PM Teo Chee Hean extended his impression on socio-economic growth in Việt Nam and hoped that the inked agreements between the two countries will be fruitfully put into operation, especially those within ASEAN framework.
