Estonian FM spoke highly of Viet Nam’s drastic measures to contain the epidemic as well as its active role in the regional and international forums.

He congratulated the Southeast Asian country on successfully fulfilling the UNSC Presidency in January this year and suggested both countries would continue close coordination over issues of global concerns at the UNSC.

Minh took the occasion to extend thanks to Estonia for having advocated the signing of the trade and investment agreements between Viet Nam and the European Union in June last year, asking the European country to soon ratify the deals to help the two economies overcome the current challenges caused by COVID-19.
