Deputy Defense Minister pays official visit to Cambodia

Chief of the General Staff of the Viet Nam People's Army, Deputy Defense Minister Phan Van Giang

The visit, made at the invitation of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) commander-in-chief General Vong Pisen, aims to strengthen the friendship relations and launch agreements reached between their senior leaders, upgrading defense cooperation more intensively, effectively and practically to become one of the crucial pillars in the two nations’ relationship. 

The two sides will review cooperative contents and exchange and reach cooperative measures in the upcoming time between the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. 

During the visit, Giang will pay a courtesy visit to the Cambodian Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister.
