Defense Ministry launches official portal

VGP – The Ministry of National Defense (MND) on December 12 officially launched its electrical portal at the address http://www.mod.gov.vn.

Participants to the ceremony included Deputy PM Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Minister of National Defense Do Ba Ty, Deputy Head of the Central Committee for Propagation and Training Nguyen The Ky, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Minh Hong and Viet Nam Government Portal Editor-in-chief Pham Viet Dung.

Deputy PM Nhan underlined that the event marked a new development of the Ministry in information technology applications.

The dual language portal is expected to serve as an interactive channel between the Vietnamese Army and readers./.
