Since 8 am of July 31, the Da Nang authorities installs eight checkpoints at main entrances to prevent people and vehicles from going in and out of the city.

Transport vehicles of other localities are requested to return to where they came from. If entering the city, they are not permitted to get out.

At checkpoints, interdisciplinary forces have to control people and vehicles in and out of the city, except for special cases including the execution of official duties, the transport of patients to Thu Thien-Hue province, the delivery of food and foodstuff supply, and production materials.

The eight checkpoints included the southern site of Hai Van Tunnel at Lien Chieu district; the path to Hai Van Pass at Nguyen Van Cu (Lien Chieu district); 14G Road (at Hoa Vangdistrict); National Road 1 (at Hoa Vang district, near QuangNam); 605 national road (at Hoa Vang district); CoCoBay Entertainment Complex at Truong Sa Road (Ngu Hanh Son district), and Tran Dai Nghia Road (Ngu Hanh Son district).

Transport activities of the inter-provincial routes through Da Nang City are not allowed to stop or park in the cities to pick up and drop off passengers.

Up to 45 COVID-19 new infections were detected in Da Nang on July 31, bringing the total active cases to 79 in the city.

Earlier, on July 30, the Ministry of Health sent additional medical experts to join the frontline forces to fight against the resurgence of Covid-19 in Da Nang./.
