Da Nang among top ten places worth living in the world in 2018

VGP - The central city of Da Nang has become the only Vietnamese candidate listed in the world’s top 10 worth-living destinations for expats in 2018, according to a survey conducted by Live and Invest Overseas travel magazine.

As the country’s third largest city, Da Nang has garnered widespread recognition from international visitors thanks to spectacular urban landscape without much air and noise pollution, healthy business environment, enormous tourism potential, and notably, a convenient geographical location close to world-recognized heritage sites.

Da Nang is attractive to neighborhood workers, especially young ones. It is worth noting that educated people with a good command of English could find it easy to find a job in the retail and travel industry in Da Nang.

From Da Nang, it is easy to get to nearby world’s cultural heritages, such as the ancient citadel of Hue, Hoi An old quarter, and My Son Sanctuary.

The total number of visitors to Da Nang City last year was estimated at 6.6 million, jumping 19% year-on-year, with international tourist arrivals accounting for 2.3 million. The city is pinning high hopes of wooing 7.47 million tourist arrivals this year, including three million foreigners.

The city is also being busy to prep up for the Danang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) scheduled to last around two months starting from April 29.

The magazine describes Da Nang as one of the famous destinations in Viet Nam’s travel map and that the city welcomed more than 10 million foreign visitors in 2016.
