The memorandum will be signed on March 13 during the annual meeting on the Việt Nam–Singapore cooperation program in Đà Lạt City, said Mr. Nguyễn Thu, General Director of the Đà Nẵng Port One-Member Limited Company.

On February 23, the port’s leaders already worked with Mr. Cheong Teow Cheng, President of Singapore Cruise Center Pte Ltd., on the possibility of developing sea tourism and tourist seaports in Đà Nẵng.

The two sides discussed on the upgrading of quays, the construction of shopping centers at the Tiên Sa Port, the improvement of relevant procedures and other tourism-related issues.

Mr. Thu said that Singapore is Asia’s sea tourism center with large tourist seaports. The country continues upgrading its tourist seaports system, hoping to receive more big ships that even carry up to 4,000 customers.
