DPM receives foreign CEOs

VGP – Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung hosted separate receptions for General Director of Doosan Vina in Viet Nam Jung Yeon In and President and CEO of Thai Siam Cement Group (SCG) Roongrote Rangsiyopath on July 6 in Ha Noi.

Deputy PM Dung welcomed Doosan Group (from the Republic of Korea) for its investment decision in Viet Nam in heavy industries which helped increase the rate of locally-produced components and boost industrial sectors, including electricity.

The Vietnamese Government always creates favorable ways for foreign players, including Doosan  Group, to expand footholds in Viet Nam, said the host leader.

The Deputy PM also urged foreign companies to ensure labor safety, take good care of workers, carry out humanitarian and charity programs, and contribute to Viet Nam’s social welfare policies. 

For his part, Director General Jung Yeon In reaffirmed his group’s motto of observing the environmental commitments, standards and regulations in Vie Nam. 

The guest leader also promised to ensure strict criteria on labor safety and care for workers, he added.

At the reception for the Thai CEO, Deputy PM Dung hailed the cooperative programs between SCG groups and Vietnamese partners in such areas as energy, petroleum, and construction.

The host leader reiterated the Vietnamese Government’s determination to offer favorable ways for SCG group to seek investment opportunities in Viet Nam.

Mr. Roongrote Rangsiyopath also vowed to work with Vietnamese agencies and businesses to successfully implement cooperative projects./.
