DPM meets Lao NA Chairwoman

VGP – The Laos National Assembly (NA) commits to continuously facilitate the two Governments in launching specific, resolute and synchronous measures to boost cooperation in all spheres of economics, trade, investment, security, defense, inspection and anti-corruption.

Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Laos Pany Yathotu made that statement at her reception for Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on December 10 on the occasion of the Vietnamese leader’s working visit to Laos. 

At the meeting, the two sides expressed their delight at the fruitful friendship relations between the two Parties, nations and National Assemblies, agreeing to continue maintaining  delegation exchanges and visits at all levels and channels. 

They agreed to enhance cooperation and information and experience sharing in all fields, including law supervision and enforcement. 

Pany Yathotu proposed the two sides strengthen supervision works of key projects, particularly the project on building the new headquarters of the Lao NA. 

For his side, Binh confirmed to promote the implementation of contents of mutual concerns, especially calling on more Vietnamese big firms to pour investment in Laos and soon addressing issues relevant to free migration, non-registered marriage and citizenship in line with the spirit of the agreements inked between the two Governments.
