The Deputy PM made that statement at his reception for out-going Danish Ambassador to Viet Nam Charlotte Laursen on December 12 in Ha Noi.

At the meeting, the Deputy PM lauded contributions of the Ambassador to developing the two nations’ Comprehensive Partnership, especially in such areas as politics-diplomacy, economics, trade, education and training.

He highlighted the bilateral trade turnover of more than US$600 million in 2016 and Denmark ranking 25th among largest investors in Viet Nam.

Mr. Minh expected that Viet Nam and Denmark will enhance high-ranking delegation visits, encourage more Danish visitors to Viet Nam and promote people-to-people exchanges in the upcoming time.

He expressed his thanks Denmark for its Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Viet Nam and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for training courses on international regulations.

Ms. Laursen asserted to make her contributions to strengthening the two nations’ Comprehensive Partnership in the future.
