DPM encourages more Russian enterprises to invest in VN

VGP – The Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for Russian enterprises to expand operation in Viet Nam, said Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung at his meeting with Russia’s large corporations on October 30 in Russia.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the Deputy PM’s visit to Russia to attend the 21st session of the Viet Nam-Russia Inter-Governmental Committee for Economic-Commercial and Scientific-Technological Cooperation in Moscow, Russia. 

At the meeting with CEO of Rostec Corporation Sergey Chemezov, Deputy PM Dung highly spoke of Russia’s science and technology, supposing that the two sides have full potential in cooperation in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, including application of high tech in such areas as telecommunications, health and transport. 

He welcomed the presence of companies under Rostec Corporation in Viet Nam, proposing the corporation expand operation in advantageous areas.

During the working session with President of Russian Railways Oleg Belozyorov, Mr. Dung asserted that the Vietnamese Government welcomes and backs the cooperation between Vietnamese firms and the Russian Railways in modernizing and developing the railway system in Viet Nam. 

For his side, Mr. Oleg Belozyorov expressed his wish to further cooperate with Viet Nam, confirming that the Russian Railways may support Viet Nam to develop its railways system.
