DPM chairs meeting on sustainable maritime development

Representatives of ministries, agencies and localities and specialists and scientists on maritime attended the event.

Delegates highlighted remarkable achievements of maritime economic development over the recent years, especially in fields of tourism, aquatic processing and exploitation, coastal economic zones and infrastructure development, environmental protection and responses to climate change and sea level rise.

In addition, they referred to shortcomings in maritime economic development and proposed measures to enhance sustainable maritime economic development in line with national defense and security and environmental protection.

At the event, delegates exchanged experience on sustainable development at localities.
