With the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Moving toward Sound and Sustainable Development", the forum focuses on three main issues-exploring the root source of global economy uncertainty, seeking reform and transformation and Asia's sustainable development.

Opening the event, Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang called for joint efforts to push forward Asia's sound and sustainable development in the wake of complicated global situations.

He, however, said that the profound effects of the global financial crisis have yet been removed completely and Europe’s debt crisis has seen new developments, thus accelerating global economic growth is still a hard process.

At this forum, Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải will transmit crucial speeches on “ASEAN Free Trade Area and regional economic integration” and "Asia in the Changing World: Moving toward Sound and Sustainable Development".

During the three-day forum, Deputy PM Hoàng Trung Hải is expected to deliver speeches at dialogues “ASEAN Free Trade Area and regional economic integration” and "Asia in the Changing World: Moving toward Sound and Sustainable Development".

First held in 2001, the BFA has been committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries closer to their development goals.
