DPM Phuc starts tour to Qatar, UAE
VGP – A delegation, led by Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Ha Noi on December 12 to start visits to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the visits, Deputy PM Phuc will hold talks with the Deputy PMs of Qatar and the UAE, meet with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the FMs of the two countries.
He will attend the Viet Nam Days in Qatar and the UAE, which will be organized by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Culture, Sports and Tourism to enhance the multi-lateral relations between Viet Nam and these nations and promote the image of Viet Nam in the Middle East.
The Deputy PM will also make speeches at the Viet Nam-Qatar and Viet Nam-UAE Economic Cooperation Forums. It is expected that each forum will attract around 300 delegates from the local Government, ministries, agencies and businesses.
Deputy PM Phuc’s visits to Qatar and the UAE will help enhance bilateral relations and cultural and people-to-people exchanges, facilitate business partnership and investment between Viet Nam and Qatar and the UAE as well as other partners in the Middle East.
