At a working session with officials from the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce (SACC) in the city, Deputy PM Nhan said the Vietnamese Government always creates favorable conditions for Swiss enterprises to do profitable business in Viet Nam.

He also stated that the Vietnamese Government is eager to listen to comments from foreign investors to perfect the local investment environment.

Mr. Nhan said that he was glad to see progress the two countries’ economic ties, especially after the official visit of former Vietnamese State President Nguyen Minh Triet to Switzerland in 2010.

Despite negative impacts from the world’s economic downturn and the European debt crisis, two-way trade turnover between Viet Nam and Switzerland is kept stable, he added.

The Deputy PM also praised SACC’s role in guiding Swiss investors to Viet Nam. He hoped that the chamber would continue to forge more opportunities for the business circles of the two countries to meet, contact and share information and contribute to beefing up ties.

For his part, Chairman of the Viet Nam Committee under the SACC Adolf Meier said he believes that two-way trade volume would expand vigorously in the upcoming years./.
