DPM Minh to attend int’l conference on the Future of Asia
VGP – Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh will attend the international conference on the Future of Asia on May 30-31 in Tokyo, Japan.
The Japanese Government announced that senior leaders of seven Asian countries including Viet Nam will attend the conference.
The foreign leaders include Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte,Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad, Bangladeshi PM Sheikh Hasina,Cambodian PM Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Lao PM Thongloun Sisoulith, and Singaporean Deputy PM Heng Swee Keat.
They are expected to deliver keynote speeches at the conference. Japanese PM Shinzo Abe will hold separate talks with foreign leaders on bilateral ties and regional issues.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan reported that Deputy PM Minh will co-chair a meeting of the Viet Nam-Japan Cooperative Committee and hold talks with Japanese FM Taro Kono.
The Vietnamese Deputy PM will meet with Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, the Lao PM, and President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)./.
