DPM: Labor cooperation, development for interest of laborers, enterprises

Speaking at the event, Binh spoke highly of the three agencies’ coordination in launching the cooperative program, which is meaningful in the context of extensive international economic integration and the nation’s participation in the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). 

The three agencies must join hands in the spirit of cooperation and responsibility, heading to the common interests of the nation, laborers and enterprises, said the Deputy PM, asking to enhance communication works, communicate laws in general and policies related to employment and labor management in particular.    

It is necessary to provide information about labor situations, the observance of law provisions on labor, public servants and employees, social insurance, labor safety and hygiene, labor dispute and strike situations as well as communicate policies and laws on prevention of labor violations and crimes, public servants, employees, social insurance, labor sanitation.  

The content of the cooperative program between the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor and the MOLISA focuses on nine areas of law establishment, communication of policy, law and training, labor relations and wage, social insurance, labor safety and sanitation, gender equality and guaranty of rights for children, employment and vocational training, inspection and supervision, science and technology research and international cooperation. 

The cooperative program between the Viet Nam General Confederation of Labor and the VCCI aims to continue launching Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on the enhancement of the workers’ position and roles in the period of speeding up industrialization – modernization and international economic integration.

It also targets to implement the guideline of the Party, policies and laws of the State on the establishment of harmonious, sustainable and advanced labor relationship at enterprises, heading to the sustainable development of the business community, improving the effectiveness of bilateral and trilateral mechanisms and establishing formal information, consultancy and dialogue channels.
