The Deputy PM hailed contributions of the EuroCham to Viet Nam's successful organization of the Mid-Term Viet Nam Business Forum in 2017 and the release of the White Book on Viet Nam trade and investment.

The businesses from the EU are concerned about green and sustainable development in Viet Nam, heading to debut the Blue Book on Viet Nam in the future, said Mr. Jen Ruebbert.

He highly appraised the nation’s achievements in administrative procedure reform and transparent and open business environment.

The EU and Viet Nam should soon complete the signing of the EU-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement, he said, adding that the EuroCham will make efforts in urging the European Parliament to approve the Agreement as soon as possible for the benefits of their businesses and people.

The Vietnamese Government will continue taking measures to reform administrative procedures, improve the business environment, reduce expenditures for enterprises, facilitate trade and protect health for domestic consumers, affirmed Deputy PM Hue.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed issues related to animal quarantine, regulations and standards on milky products, imports and exports on pharmaceuticals  and tariffs on wine.
